1. Shepherds - With The Shepherd we have an almost complete archetype. This figure can be found in almost all major religions, in history and in the stories and legends of all times. 


2. Constellations - The story of the constellations go back almost as far as shepherds for it is said that Arabian Shephers, while watching their flocks traced the constellations out as animals to which they were familiar with. 


3. The Zodiac - The Zodiac is an important tool for understanding mythology and symbolism. It dates back to ancient times and has its roots even in our modern world. Astrology is one of the most important tools of the new age but using the stars as a form of communication is no new thing. 


4. Moon Cycles - The Moon has always been a symbolic planet. Its silver glow has facinated mankind for ages and the symbolism that comes from it tells of the very begining of mans history. The cycles of the moon were used for calendars and for harvesting. 


5. Solar Legends - The Sun has always been an object of veneration, since the begining of time solar legends have existed of heros, and mythical beings who held the qualities and virtues of goodness. 


6. The Crescents - The Crescent symbol is an old symbol that can be found in many parts of the world. The moon is seen by us in crescent forms as well as the planet Venus. The moon is a goddess symbol as well as the crescent of venus. 


7. Venus Worship - Venus is seen by us in crescent form by the naked eye. It is one of the brightest planets and has been called "the light bearer" Goddess worship is tied to this crescent form of worship simular to moon worship. 


8. The Calendar - The Calendar was developed after men discovered the longer cycles of the sun, the moon and sun together gave them the development of agriculture, and much symbolism can be found in the study of calendars. 


9. The Equinox - The Equinox is a facinating thing, it happens only twice a year making both the day and night equal hours. In latin the term equinox means equal night. The turm equilux has also been used meaning (equal light)  


10. The Eclipse - The Eclipse is a process where one celestial object passes through the shadow of another, or the body of another object comes between the observer and the object. The symbolism is rich for it contains both solar and lunar symbolism. (Solar Eclipse, Lunar Eclipse)  


11. The Sun Dial - The Sundial is a device having its start with the obelisks of ancient times, that used shadows and the sun to tell time. This symbolism is important and can be found in almost all primitive religions, having its roots in phallic and tree worship.  


12. Stellar Theology - Stellar Theology is prehaps the thread that ties all religions together, worshiped by the Egypitians, Chaldeans, Babylonians. This ancient religion having to do with the worship of the stars transcends generations and has been preserved in our modern symbolism as well as the ancient symbolism. 


13. Star Maps - Star maps were created to work as charts divided into sections by astronmers. Even the earliest man considered the stars to be a map of heaven. There are many variations, and there are many hieroglyphs and ancient stone tablets that have embeded in them these complicated charts.  


14. Sirius Dog Star - Sirius Dog Star - Sirius star worship has influenced many of mans religions including that of egypt and other ancient peoples. It is the star that shines the brightest in the night sky, and bright stars were important for navigation. The star system has been recorded by ancient man as well, tribes in africa, and all over the globe have in their religions this stellar encoding. Sirius was said by antiquity to be the dog of Orion.  


15. Comets - Comets carry with them not only a history in astronomy but also strong symbolism and a connection to many of our oldest stories of the hero the princess and the dragon. Comet symbolism has a deep psychological meaning that goes back to early man and ones own ego.
